Message for 1 on 1 practice students from Shelby

My work is deeply informed by my own successful healing journey recovering from brain and spinal trauma and the severe C-PTSD that followed. I bring this unparalleled education coupled with a lifetime of movement/energy studies and over 15 years of full-time teaching expertise into every lesson. Additionally, I have written training curriculum for a multitude of programs and understand how to connect and build with a wide variety of learning styles. I strive to bring professionalism and respect to every client I have the honor to assist.

What Shelby keeps in mind when she leads 1 on 1 yoga practice

Our lessons will always meet you where you are in the moment and combine a multitude of modalities to create the best possible outcome for that day. I also work to create easy two-way communication between myself and the student during every lesson in order to make the best use of your time, money, and energy. My short-term goal in a private lesson is to help you leave the session feeling better than when you began, and the long-term goal is to assist you in understanding how your body works, and how to adapt your practices to its ever-changing needs so you can live from a place of embodied empowerment.
