Message from Julia 

My teaching is grounded in the ancient principle that yoga is a unifying journey inward. It is a practice of creating unity between the body, breath, and mind. Whether you are new to yoga or seeking solace from the demands of daily life, this path offers tools to regulate the nervous system and cultivate a state of clarity and peace.

In our one-on-one sessions, we will create a sacred and safe space for you to explore this union. We will use tailored movement (asana), purposeful breathing (pranayama), and guided meditation to address your specific goals, release tension, and cultivate a sustainable sense of balance. My role is to offer clear, kind, and knowledgeable guidance for your unique practice.

What Julia keeps in mind when she leads 1-on-1 yoga practice

To prepare for your one-on-one online session, please find a quiet space where you won't be disturbed. Our session is fully customized for you. You are always welcome to share how you are feeling that day — whether you need more energy, have physical tension, are on a specific day of your cycle, or simply want to focus on a particular area. We will shape the practice together based on your needs. Our time will be a holistic practice integrating traditional yoga asana, pranayama, and meditation.

Please have your mat ready. It is also helpful to have a few props nearby to support your practice, such as yoga blocks or thick books, a yoga strap or a belt, a bolster or a firm pillow, and a blanket. Do not worry if you don't have all of these, as we can adapt. The most important thing is to come as you are.

About Julia

Julia is a 500-hour certified yoga instructor with a deep connection to the source of the practice, having completed her foundational training in India. This experience ensures her approach is rooted in the traditional goals of yoga, focusing on unity and self-awareness beyond mere physical exercise.

In her classes, she guides students through a holistic mind-body journey. A typical session might begin with a focus on precise alignment, transition into powerful and mindful breathwork, and conclude with a deeply relaxing guided meditation. Julia often incorporates wisdom from classical texts like the Yoga Sutras, making the philosophy accessible and relevant.

She is skilled in teaching Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga Vinyasa (Primary Series), and Yin/Restorative yoga. Julia has a particular passion for the empowerment of backbends, which is a noted specialty in her teaching.

Beyond the mat, Julia is a certified sound healer, using vibrational instruments to deepen meditative states. She is also dedicated to supporting women through the transformative phases of motherhood, holding a certification in prenatal and postnatal yoga for safe practice during pregnancy and recovery.

All of her offerings are informed by her own dedicated and ever-evolving personal practice, ensuring her students receive guidance that is both authentic and modernized.
