With over two decades of experience running yoga teacher training schools in Japan and Malaysia, we've built a global network of highly-skilled yoga teachers, allowing us to offer affordable classes.

How long have you been in the yoga industry?

Our journey began in 2005, working hand-in-hand with our parent company, Under The Light Yoga School (UTL), one of the largest yoga teacher training schools in Asia.

Who We Are

Our yoga journey began from Japan in 2005

Our yoga journey began when our Parent Company, UTL Inc ( UNDER THE LIGHT YOGA INC), launched its yoga school in Yoyogi, Tokyo.
Today, we are one of Asia's largest Yoga Alliance teacher training schools with over 1000 RYT200 certified yoga graduates.

Since then, we've built beautiful relationships with international yoga instructors, which allowed us to organize special workshops, events, and Yoga Alliance-certified teacher training courses.

Embarked on a journey to South East Asia in 2016

In 2016, we embarked on a journey to South East Asia and built a new base in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
We hotes one of the biggest yoga festivals in South East Asia and made many beautiful friends from various backgrounds and practiced yoga together!

Going virtual in 2020 - The new aproach to yoga classes

In 2020, we launched our online platform, “OMTOGETHER,” to provide online yoga classes to our community during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Through our live online yoga classes, students and teachers can interact and practice yoga together, which builds togetherness amidst the pandemic. Better yet, we get to practice with our friends around the globe via this virtual platform!

1-on-1 - More interactive, More personal

After going through 2 years of the Covid-19 pandemic, we discovered that online group classes could be challenging for some who struggle with injuries and different body conditions.
From this, we decided to offer 1-on-1 yoga classes to individuals across the globe for a more interactive and personal experience during online yoga classes.

Jimmy's yoga journey began in April 2004 while working for a company that operated a chain of yoga studios across Japan. His initial step into a yoga class was to understand the practice from a business perspective. However, it wasn't long before he discovered the personal benefits — the mat became a place of focus and solace, a space to quiet the daily concerns.
He maintained a consistent practice for 18 years, yet progression was elusive due to persistent lower back pain from a childhood injury. The pandemic brought an unexpected turn; it led him to explore online one-on-one yoga sessions. This personalized approach was transformative. With dedicated guidance and feedback from his teachers, Jimmy found significant improvement in his practice.
