| Staff’s comment: Nagisa’s knowledge of anatomy and physiology is next level. She explains how each pose affects your body and gives spot-on corrections that make a huge difference. I didn’t even realize I was doing some poses wrong until I took her class—such a great way to level up your practice. | |||
About Nagisa Muhlenberg
Nagisa is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) and a mother of one, based in Washington, D.C.
She began her yoga journey in 2013 in Japan, due to issues in her lower back resulting from her classical ballet dancing.
She achieved her RYT 200 certification in 2019 at Yoga Works in Los Angeles, and she professionally started sharing her expertise and the joy of yoga to others both in studios and online to access the global audience.
She furthered her education by completing another RYT 200 course, immersing herself in the specialized teachings of Ashtanga Yoga and Iyengar Yoga. At the core of her teachings lies a glowing passion, to infuse authentic yoga philosophy, tailoring each practice to the unique needs and structure of the practitioner's body.
After her own pregnancy and delivery in 2023, she began specializing in postpartum movement — drawing directly on her personal recovery experience to inform the way she teaches. She works with moms through ONE OM ONE's private 1-on-1 program, bringing both her professional training and lived experience to every session.
As Program Director at ONE OM ONE, she is dedicated to making expert postpartum support accessible to busy moms — wherever they are in the world, whenever they can carve out the time.
